WHAT IS NECESSARY (preliminary version) NOTE: These rules apply for European Union countries. Outside E.U. you should inform yourself.
The legislation is not valid for all European Union countries.
OVERVIEW:
• Pets must be identified through a system of electronic identification (transponder). • Mandatory Documents: Passport Vaccination bulletin (both emitted by a veterinarian authority) • Vaccines: Rage Complete (internal and external) parasite treatment
COUNTRIES OF EXCEPTION There are countries in the E.U. that require additional measures. In Ireland, Malta, Sweden and United Kingdom, the animals, beyond the necessary measures enumerated above, should be submitted to an effectiveness of antibodies (test of verification of the efficacy of the vaccine) in an approved laboratory.
The States-Members of the E.U. can authorize the access of young animals up to three months, yet not vaccinated, in certain conditions.
In case of doubts always consult a veterinarian!
